In the realm of Fólkvangr, where Freya, the goddess of love and beauty, welcomed the valiant warriors who had fallen in battle, a field of lavender bloomed, its soft purple hues contrasting with the golden grasses. The warriors, their spirits eased by the calming scent, found solace amidst the delicate flowers.

Freya, with her golden hair unbound and eyes reflecting the twilight sky, wandered through the lavender fields, her heart touched by the serenity they brought. She offered a sprig of lavender to a young warrior named Brynhild, who had fallen bravely in a fierce battle, and whose spirit was restless.

Brynhild, touched by the goddess's compassion, took the lavender and tucked it into her battle-worn cloak. From that day on, the lavender of Fólkvangr became a symbol of Freya's love and the promise of peace for those who had fallen in battle.
